Value Maker LLC (the "Company") establishes the following Privacy Policy (this "Policy") regarding the handling of personal information and other information of users obtained in connection with "PokeVPN" (the "Service") provided by the Company.
Article 1 (Scope)
1. This Policy applies to the handling of information about users obtained by the Company in connection with the Service. 2. The privacy policies of external services linked from the Service (PTCGL, Stripe, Auth0, X (formerly Twitter), etc.) are governed by the policies of each respective provider.
Article 2 (Types of Information Collected)
In providing the Service, the Company primarily collects the following information. 1. Information provided by users at registration or otherwise: - Email address - PTCGL player name (optional) - X (formerly Twitter) ID (optional) - Some payment-related information (Stripe customer ID, etc.) - Other information entered by users in forms designated by the Company 2. Information related to the authentication service (Auth0): - User identifier (sub) provided by the authentication service - Email address, display name, profile image URL, etc. (to the extent obtained) 3. Payment-related information: - Stripe customer ID, payment history, subscription status, etc. * Sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers is collected and managed directly by Stripe; the Company does not have access to such information itself. 4. Usage information: - Date/time of access, IP address, browser information, etc. - Connection status, error events, and other technical information necessary for the operation/maintenance of the Service - Plan in use, start/end dates, and other contract information
Article 3 (Purpose of Use)
The Company uses the collected information for the following purposes: 1. To provide and operate the Service; 2. To issue and distribute appropriate Client Files, etc. for each user; 3. To bill fees, confirm payment status, and respond to refund requests; 4. To provide announcements about the Service and respond to inquiries; 5. To investigate causes and respond to incidents in the event of failures or troubles; 6. To monitor and prevent unauthorized use (including detection of improper sharing across multiple accounts); 7. To improve the Service, develop new features, and consider marketing initiatives; 8. To provide and consider sponsorships, partnerships, and promotions (including support for users and tournament sponsorships); 9. To respond to acts violating, or potentially violating, the Terms of Service; 10. To comply with requests from laws or governmental authorities; 11. For purposes incidental to the above.
Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)
1. The Company shall not provide collected personal information to third parties except in the following cases: (1) With the user's consent; (2) Where required by law; (3) Where necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and obtaining the user's consent is difficult; (4) Where particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children, and obtaining the user's consent is difficult; (5) Where necessary to cooperate with national agencies, local governments, or their agents performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent might impede such duties. 2. Provision of information to payment processors (Stripe, etc.), authentication providers (Auth0, etc.), and cloud providers, etc., to the extent necessary for the Company to entrust part of its operations, shall not be deemed provision to third parties.
Article 5 (Outsourcing)
In providing the Service, the Company may entrust certain operations such as server management, authentication processing, payment processing, and provision of analytics tools to external providers. In such cases, the Company shall enter into appropriate contracts with such providers and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure proper handling of personal information.
Article 6 (Use of Cookies, etc.)
1. The Company may use cookies and similar technologies in the Service for purposes such as maintaining login sessions, access analytics, and Service improvement. 2. Users can refuse to accept cookies by changing their browser settings. However, in such cases, some features of the Service may become unavailable.
Article 7 (Security Measures)
The Company shall take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information and otherwise to ensure secure management of personal information. The Company shall also ensure that its employees and entrusted parties handle personal information appropriately.
Article 8 (Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use)
1. Users may request, through procedures designated by the Company, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to third parties of their own personal information. 2. Upon receiving a request from a user, the Company shall respond promptly within a reasonable scope. However, this does not apply if the Company is permitted to refuse such requests under applicable laws.
Article 9 (Use by Minors)

If a user uses the Service after the revised Policy takes effect, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Policy.
